Robotics at the end of the line (end-of-line)

What happens to your product the second it comes off the line?

LogiPath is the local Romanian partner of international manufacturers and integrators of end-of-line robotics for factories and distribution centres. Robotic solutions radically change how modern factories operate: they deliver flexibility and efficiency that's hard to match otherwise. They automate repetitive tasks, raise operating speed, and maintain a high level of accuracy. They reduce risk in a high-intensity area, boost productivity, and adapt easily to changing requirements.

In short

End-of-line robotics automates operations from the second the product leaves production: pallet inspection, palletizing, packaging, and labeling. It eliminates repetitive handling tasks, maintains constant accuracy at high throughput, and moves the product straight to the warehouse or to shipping, with no manual handling.

THIS IS WHERE AUTOMATION BEGINS

The end of the line is the connection between production and logistics.

From the second the product comes off the line, the system takes over: it's palletized, packaged, labeled, and inspected automatically, then picked up and moved to the warehouse — with no manual handling. Nothing works in isolation: each component does its part, but everything runs in unison, like a single orchestrated ecosystem, where the pallet moves from one step to the next without stopping. Production keeps its rhythm, logistics receives a pallet that's ready to go, and you have a single accountable link between the two.

HOW IT WORKS

The pallet is the backbone of your operation.

The entire load rests on it — literally. A sound pallet keeps the product stable, packages cleanly, and arrives intact at the customer; a bad one compromises everything stacked on top. That's why we start by inspecting its integrity, then build on it, step by step — through four integrated technologies, each one setting up the next.

System for inspecting the integrity of empty pallets at the line entrance
01 · AT THE LINE ENTRANCE

Mechanical and visual inspection of pallet integrity.

Every empty pallet is checked before entering production: a mechanical system measures strength, and machine vision detects defects that are hard to see with the naked eye. Non-conforming pallets are automatically rejected — preventing product damage throughout the rest of the flow and removing risk for the operator.

Palletizing robot stacking directly off the line
02 · PALLETIZING

Robots that stack, straight off the line.

Palletizing robots stack finished products onto the pallet — cases or trays — straight off the production line, using product-optimized patterns. Fast, flexible, with gentle handling even for different products on the same line.

03 · PACKAGING

Every pallet packaging technology.

We cover every type of end-of-line packaging: stretch wrap, stretch hood, shrink film, and PET strapping — chosen based on the product, transport conditions, and the end customer's requirements. Our robotic wrapping systems run a 1000 mm roll, which cuts the number of rotations and increases pallet stability, with automatic head changeover for up to 8 hours of autonomy and up to ~30% less film than traditional systems.

04 · LABELING

Correct labels, verified on the spot.

An anthropomorphic robot applies the label to the pallet, with a camera that verifies barcode readability on the spot. The dual-printer option doubles runtime and allows roll changes without stopping — traceability guaranteed through to shipping.

ONE SINGLE SYSTEM

Each component does its part. The result belongs to the whole.

Palletizing, packaging, labeling, verification, transport to the warehouse — none of them work in isolation. Each does its part, but the value comes from how they connect: a single orchestrated system, where each step sets up the next. That's how you get people out of high-intensity zones and put them where they truly matter, that's how you get complete traceability from the line to the truck, and that's how you build an operation that runs continuously. Because every process ends at some point — yours has to keep going.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Frequently asked questions

What does end-of-line robotics automate?

Four integrated technologies: mechanical and visual pallet integrity inspection, robotic palletizing, automated packaging, and labeling with barcode verification.

Why does pallet inspection matter at the start of the line?

A sound pallet keeps the load stable, packages correctly, and arrives intact at the customer. A damaged pallet compromises everything stacked on top — that's why every pallet is inspected mechanically and visually before entering the process.

How long does wrapping run without operator intervention?

The wrapping system uses a 1000 mm roll with a dual head, running up to 8 hours before a change, and the operator swaps the roll safely, outside the work zone.
